With oily skin, the oil producing sebaceous glands are overactive and produce more oil then are needed for the skin. Oily skin has enlarged pores, and the skin appears coarse. Oily skin is also prone to blackheads and other blemishes as well. The causes of oily skin can be from diet, heredity, hormone levels, pregnancy, humidity, birth control pills, and also possibly the cosmetics you use. Oily skin is prevalent in teenagers because of the hormonal shifts. The flow of sebum increases during the adolescent years.
Oily skin care needs special cleansing, to avoid clogged pores. Use oil based products to cleanse oily skin. Choosing oil free moisturizers will be good for oily skin care treatment. Washing your face just 2 to 3 times a day. Frequent washing is not recommended, it will stimulate your skin to produce more oil. The treatment for oily skin requires cosmetic and facial care products that are geared for oily skin.
Appropriate diet designed for oily skin
A helpful contributor for an oily skin remedy would be a change in diet. Plenty of leafy green vegetables and fresh fruits are recommended. A diet rich in proteins is also helpful. Restrict your intake of sugar fluid and salt drinking plenty of water to keep the skin hydrated and flush out toxins is helpful as well. Do not cook with oil, and avoid eating any oils that have been subjected to heat from cooking if oil is desired in your salad dressing, then the best choice would be a minimal amount of canola or olive oil. Try to avoid drinking soft drinks or alcoholic beverages. These diet restrictions will be helpful as an oily skin remedy.

PS you don’t not have to use the products that I used. Just make sure when you are searching for products they are oil free and help in some way to mattify your skin and reduce oil production. Also, make sure the ingredients aren’t too harsh.
